This is a remote position.
Respite Care of San Antonio (RCSA) provides services to enhance the stability and nurturing opportunities of families caring for a loved one with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnosis. Our goal is to strengthen and stabilize families prevent possible child abuse and prevent or delay institutionalization of the child with special needs.
We offer various services for children with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnoses such as a full-time daycare mothers day out program family day out/parents night out program and summer camps. Along with this we are a licensed emergency shelter and foster placement agency for children who have been taken into state protective custody.
The Remote Administrative Data Entry Assistant supports administrative operations by performing accurate and timely data entry maintaining records and providing general administrative support. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of data enabling smooth workflows for care giving and respite services.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update data into the companys systemsthis may include client data caregiver information service records scheduling details billing codes etc.
Verify accuracy and completeness of data entered; identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure documents are properly scanned indexed and stored.
Respond to internal requests for information or record retrieval on time.
Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing correspondence managing emails scheduling or supporting virtual meetings and tracking tasks.
Handle confidential and sensitive client/caregiver information with discretion and in compliance with privacy standards (e.g. HIPAA if in the US).
Collaborate with other team members to ensure workflows are efficient and data supports operations (care teams billing scheduling etc.).
Generate basic reports or support reporting activities as required.
Maintain strong organizational time-management and self-motivation skills to work effectively from a remote setting.
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in data entry or administrative support preferably in a healthcare respite care or care giving environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel Word Outlook) and comfortable learning new software/database systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment manage own workload and meet deadlines.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable internet connection and suitable remote workspace.
Working Conditions & Other
Fully remote role no physical on-site presence required unless specified.
Standard business hours (Monday to Friday) though some flexibility may be required.
Must maintain confidentiality and security of electronic data and client information always.
