Compelling Homes Remodeling and Design  is a full-service design-build home remodeling contractor that helps bring our clients’ dreams to life. From a small bathroom remodel to a finished basement or even a home addition. Summary of Responsibilities

This role is all about turning creative ideas into stunning realities! You’ll design and refine plans, measure spaces, and create buildable designs that come to life. Working hand-in-hand with clients, you'll help choose finishes, materials, and fixtures, while keeping projects on track and within budget. From drafting detailed drawings to picking the perfect paint color, you'll be the design expert pushing boundaries and showing clients what’s truly possible.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the production and editing of all design related documents, including but not limited to plans, details, schedules and notes. 
• Accurate measurement of the project space.
• Design development to produce buildable plans.
• Shop with customers for selections, recommend finishes, fixtures, materials, appliances, and other miscellaneous items unique to each job.
• Process orders, document ordering and keep production staff informed of timeline.
  
• Develop working drawings to include electrical and mechanical plans, window, and door schedules.
• Build a complete design packet that incorporates architectural plans/ interior color renderings/ interior elevations as well as product data that matches homeowner selections. 
• Financial Integrity with the project budget.
• Establish good working relationships with other team members.
• Foster positive communications and relationships with clients and vendors.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and developments.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• 4+ years’ experience in Residential Design
• 1+ year experience in Leadership Position
• Bachelor's degree in design-related field required
• Chief Architect Proficiency (preferred)

Compensation  

• $85,000-$105,000
