**About the Role** As part of the Corporate Finance team, you will help analyze our global business, with an emphasis on driving the growth and profitability of Uber. You will play a key role in all aspects of consolidated-level reporting and make significant contributions to high-profile strategic and operational initiatives. **What You'll Do** + Help build our P&L fluency, with an emphasis on legal entity forecasting. + Monthly close: report and analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and plan - use insights to iterate on forecasts and build/discuss potential action plans with cross-functional customers. + Operational improvement: Help optimize our planning processes and ensure finance the best methodologies spread through the organization. Work with accounting to provide input on management reporting needs and better understand our actuals. + Liaise with cross-functional departments (e.g., Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Insurance, etc.) to collect and analyze inputs to the global forecast. **Basic Qualifications** + BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant subject. + 2+ years of proven experience. + Experience with Excel/Google Sheets. + Prior financial and/or analytical experience, including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations. **Preferred Qualifications** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. + Understanding of enterprise-level financial planning systems such as IBM Cognos TM1 and Oracle. + Specialized knowledge in one or more tax areas (e.g., Global Tax Accounting, Indirect Tax). + Self-starter and proactivity-driven. + Consistent with detailed and high-quality execution. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
