Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced  Attorney/Partner to join their municipal government department. This role focuses on public sector law, specifically in:

• Public contracting, procurement, and affordable housing matters
• Drafting resolutions, ordinances, contracts, agreements, and legal opinions
• Advising public bodies on employment, labor, and other municipal issues
• Attending public meetings, hearings, and advising clients on legal matters

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney
• Strong background in  municipal government law in New Jersey
• Admission to practice law in  New Jersey (required)
• Excellent legal drafting and research skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and take ownership of significant matters
