Job Description

Description + Customer Interaction: Assist customers with routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and inquiries. + Account Maintenance: Open and maintain bank accounts, process changes, and provide basic account support. + Cash Handling: Balance cash drawers daily to ensure accurate transaction recording and compliance with cash-handling procedures. + Product Promotion: Provide customers with information about banking products and services, identifying upselling opportunities when appropriate. + Fraud Prevention: Monitor suspicious activities and escalate concerns to the appropriate departments in alignment with compliance policies. + Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries or concerns efficiently and professionally. + Compliance: Ensure all security protocols, policies, and procedures are strictly followed. Requirements + Education and Experience: + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or finance is a plus. + Previous experience as a teller, cashier, or customer service representative in a financial institution is preferred but not required. + Skills: + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively. + Accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing. + Familiarity with banking software and ability to learn new programs quickly. + Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. + Attributes: Ethical, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and professional demeanor.
