Tea Hut is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Baristas. As a Barista at Tea Hut, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our customers. We are looking for candidates who are not only passionate about tea but also capable of working flexible hours.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Availability for Shifts: Candidates must be able to take shifts between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and be available for at least one weekend shift.
2. Excellent Customer Service: A friendly and customer-focused attitude is essential. Baristas are expected to provide exceptional customer service, be attentive to customer needs, and maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
3. Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial in this role. Baristas should be able to take customer orders accurately, communicate with team members, and answer customer questions about our tea offerings.
4. Team Player: Tea Hut values teamwork. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, including preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies.
5. Attention to Detail: Baristas must pay attention to detail when preparing and presenting beverages. This includes following recipes, measuring ingredients accurately, and ensuring the quality and consistency of tea drinks.
6. Adaptability: The ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently is important. Baristas should be comfortable working under pressure during busy periods.
7. Food Safety and Sanitation: Candidates must adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
8. Age Requirement: Baristas must be at least 16 years old to be considered for this position.
9. Legal Authorization: All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous Barista Experience: Prior experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is a plus but not mandatory.
2. Passion for Tea: A genuine passion for tea and a willingness to learn about different tea varieties and brewing techniques is highly valued.
3. Cash Handling Skills: Experience handling cash transactions and operating a cash register is preferred.
4. Flexibility: Candidates with flexible schedules and the ability to cover additional shifts or holidays will be prioritized.
