We host both private and public events in our Tasting Room, Barrel Room, and Beer Garden, and produce and distribute sustainably handcrafted beverages centered on premium ingredients.
Position Overview: Devil's Canyon Brewing Company is seeking an energetic Bartender / Tasting Room Associate to join our team. This role requires an engaging, animated personality with a significant and positive presence. The primary responsibilities include serving beer and wine while providing outstanding customer service to create a remarkable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:

• Serve beer and wine to guests with exceptional customer service.
• Engage guests on arrival and provide in-depth knowledge of our beer and beverage selection.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment, including dishwashing, bussing, stocking, and cleaning.
• Exemplify the Devil's Canyon culture and hospitality.
• Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and family-friendly environment.
• Report to the Bar Lead and assist with the day-to-day operations on the floor.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• 1-2+ years of bartending experience is required
• Knowledge and excitement about beer and the brewing process are a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and perform heavy physical work (bending, kneeling, lifting, etc.).
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, and noisy environments with moderate to loud continuous noise.
• Flexible and a team player
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8-10 hours per day).
• Must be 21 years or older.

Compensation:
17.00 dollars an hour plus tips averaging 42.00 an hour or more
Physical Requirements:

• Heavy physical work (bending, kneeling, lifting, etc.).
• Work in varying environmental conditions.
• Use strong and potentially hazardous chemicals safely.
• Stand for extended periods.

Schedule:

• Hourly position plus pooled tips.
• Shifts are 6-8 hours on Friday evenings.
• Additional event shifts are available during the week and weekends as scheduled.
