Established in 1960, Sirois Tool has evolved into a strong and diversified manufacturer of precision tooling, gages, and parts for many industries. We are looking to bring on a Design Engineer at our location in Berlin, CT.

The Position:

This position will be responsible for  assisting senior engineers with the creation and development of product designs, using SolidWorks to draft technical drawings and models. This position focuses on learning and supporting the product.  

In this role you will:

• Conduct basic analysis and research
• Prepare documentation
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements
• Work with the Operations, Purchasing, and Quality teams

About You:

• Strong computer skills and experience using Solidworks
• Understanding of shop math
• Ability to use measuring tools, calipers, micrometers
• Willingness and ability to work full time days (non remote)

Entry level to experienced candidates are invited to apply, will train. Experience working in the industry is helpful but not required. This position is perfect for someone who wants to move to a different role within a small manufacturing organization, or for a student who has studied engineering at the collect level and used SolidWorks.
