Gpac is partnered with one of the top community banks in the market that is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to their team!

Job Responsibilities:

- Makes and services commercial loans.

- Interviews applicants to develop information regarding their business, lending needs, earnings and creditworthiness.

- Approves/rejects loans within lending authority.

- Maintains customer relationships throughout the loan process

- May provide financial advice and counsel to customers

- Operates with the highest lending authority and works independently

- Often provide guidance and training to more junior lenders and may function as a team leader

- Capable of functioning in a high level, fast paced environment

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent

- Three or more years of commercial lending experience or 10 years of banking experience.

- Excellent negotiator who possesses strong closing skills

- Have knowledge of current lending laws

- Excellent communication skills with ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization

- Ability to exercise patience with clients

- Meeting with clients at various destinations
