Business Development Manager/Community Liaison
Full Time Position
The Business Development Manager/Community liaison directly serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: creating demand for the facility's services through effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods, implementing the facility's strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility's brand/image, effectively manaing assigned territory and accounts, works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals, maintains documentation of assigned accounts, key contacts, planning reports, client profiles, competitive profiles and updates as required, maintaining up-to-date information in MedSeries 4/Midas/MEDIK including documentation of daily contactsand accurate account information.
Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS) is a 178-bed acute care facility located in Streamwood,IL and has been providing mental health treatment to the Chicagoland community and the state of Illinois since 1991. We are dedicated to offering services to meet the ever-changing emotional and behavioral healthcare needs of children, adolescents, and their families. SBHS has a Community Development Liaison position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
The Community Development Liaison implements the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the leadership team while building referral relationships from assigned accounts and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the community at large, in cooperation with SBHS.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION : Bachelors Degree in a behavioral health related field, marketing, business development or related field is required. A minimum of two (2) years experience in behavioral health care community development/marketing with measurable results and a basic knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is preferred. Valid Illinois driver’s license is required.
