• Worksite Location: Glenwood, MN
• Compensation: $70,000-$75,000 annually

What you’ll do as a Cost Accountant:

• Calculate and maintain labor and overhead rates
• Provide direction and contribute to physical inventory, cycle counting, and other inventory disciplines
• Analyze and provide insights into cost accounting information
• Create and interpret reporting on manufacturing capacity and utilization, productivity, cost variance, labor, material, overhead, and other relevant cost information
• Analyze and recommend improvements to process, products or strategies based on cost information
• Inform product roadmap, marketing, and lifecycle management decision-making
• Support Accounting & Financial Operations
• Assist in development, analysis, and communication of financial budgets
• Contribute to year-end financial audit
• Make recommendations to the chart of accounts to properly capture costs

What you’ll bring to the Cost Accountant role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of Accounting experience in manufacturing
• Experience with Accounting systems, manufacturing ERP and supporting systems; Sage ERP and Power BI experience a plus
• Experience with processes and workflows and how to successfully leverage technology and systems in a manufacturing environment
• Experience organizing and structuring large amounts of complex information
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
