Job Description
The role involves inspecting and cleaning fiber cables using proper tools and cleaning kits to ensure optimal performance. Technicians will label cables on both ends with a flag labeler in accordance with the customer's labeling schema and install pre-terminated fiber cables following the cabling matrix provided by the client. Work will include utilizing existing pathways such as overhead ladder racks and trays, while securing and organizing cables to maintain a neat and professional installation. Responsibilities also include updating inventory in the client's management system using provided Chromebooks and performing minimal troubleshooting, with failed cables being replaced as necessary.

Skills and Requirements
experience working in a data center environment
knowledge and experience working with fiber optic cable installation, cleaning, inspection
ability to read and follow cabling matrices and labeling standard
good customer service experience, and problem solving for customers -Prior experience in fiber optic installation or structured cabling projects.
-Certifications such as FOA CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) or equivalent.
-Experience using fiber inspection probes, cleaning kits, and labeling tools.
-Understanding of overhead cable routing and ladder rack systems.
