Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Denver, CO. This role involves designing secure, scalable network architectures for GCVE workloads and implementing hybrid connectivity solutions using VPN and Cloud Interconnect.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design and implement secure, scalable network architectures for Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) workloads.
• Plan and configure IP addressing schemes, including management, workload, edge services, and service subnets.
• Integrate GCVE environments with Google Cloud VPCs using Private Service Access and VPC peering.
• Implement advanced network security features such as NGFW, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation, and SSL offloading to ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.
• Configure VPN and Cloud Interconnect for hybrid connectivity and enable dynamic routing using BGP for seamless on-premises to cloud communication.
• Support workload migration using VMware HCX and troubleshoot networking issues across hybrid environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in network architecture and cloud networking, with at least 2+ years in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing secure, scalable network architectures within GCVE environments, including NSX-T configuration.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and dynamic routing using BGP.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour
