Must be MN based; hybrid onsite but on an as needed basis (not a set schedule). Example: 1 or 2 times a week one week and then the next week not at all, and another week all 5 days...depends on the priority of the work.
New position due to reorganization
Team size: 15-20 people (including all 3 teams). Will only work with Rath and 1 other engineer primarily.
Background on team: DAT Personalized Communication domain. Works for mktg communications (email, push notifications), including transactional and marketing communications.

Lead engineering role. Not oversee anyone, but design knowledge, create design patters, work with the team, give them solutions, work with stakeholders. Participate on daily stakeholder meetings. Networking with other teams and collecting/providing solutions.
Big data -they aren't a data-oriented team. Not doing any data analysis. No python.
Position Summary/Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Individual Contributor with strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), AWS (Amazon Web Services), and at least 3 years of experience in GCP Dataflow with large-scale applications. The candidate will be pivotal in providing technical solutions, designing system architecture, and leading the team's technical direction while working as an individual contributor.

Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in software development
At least 3 years of experience with Dataflow and large-scale application development.
Proven experience with Java and Spring Framework
5+ years of Hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Technical design and solution experience of at least 5 years
Technical Skills:
String proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
Solid experience with Dataflow for large-scale data processing
Proficiency in cloud services and architectures on GCP and AWS
Knowledge of microservices architecture, Restful APIs, and CI/CD Pipelines.
Experience with NoSQL and Relational Databases
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Ensure integration and deployment pipelines are optimized for cloud environments (GCP and AWS)
Individual Contribution:
Lead by example as an individual contributor, driving high coding and design standards.
Conduct code reviews, mentoring team members on coding standards and best practices
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Other Engineers to define technical solutions and deliver high-quality products.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
