Mains’l Services is currently seeking Direct Support Assistants to work in one of our homes supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Direct Support Assistants are employees age 16 and 17 years old who do work similar to Direct Support professionals, but with limitations required by law.

As a Direct Support Assistant, you will have an opportunity to partner with Direct Support Professionals and make a positive impact in the lives of those you work with.  Direct Support Assistants support others to live independently in their homes and communities by providing quality care specific to their needs, including, supporting individuals with personal cares, meal prep, skill building, medication administration, cleaning, and having fun.

As a Direct Support Assistant working in one of these homes you will also have the opportunity to partake in fun activities that the individuals enjoy, including shopping, bowling, playing games, and going out to eat. You will have the opportunity to help others realize their hopes and dreams, build relationships with new people, and discover what more is possible. Other job duties may include support with personal cares, meal prep, and cleaning.
