This position is a remote position supporting the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment ( AFCEC ) in San Antonio, Texas and supports Air Force installations worldwide. The position is responsible for providing pollution prevention expertise to support the Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Support Management Information System. Required Job Qualifications The successful candidate will have: A B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Compliance, Logistics, Management Engineering or closely related field and 5 years supporting environmental compliance initiatives. Experience developing training materials and providing classroom instruction to large groups. Direct experience with Enterprise Environmental Safety & Occupational Health Management Information System ( EESOH - MIS ) is necessary. Hazardous Waste or Material program oversight and environmental compliance program experience. A valid driver's license or the ability to obtain a driver's license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date. Conduct regional workshops and independent site visits / audits of installations to determine compliance and work with installation staff to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Develop and review data, provide analysis to ensure environmental compliance and develop action plans for program improvements enterprise-wide for the Air Force.
