Must have at least (2+) years of industrial environmental compliance experience primarily focused on air and waste management compliance. Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or environmental science (must have a strong academic background).
This role will monitor the site's environmental programs assigned to ensure plant compliance in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. My client is looking for a candidate that is a problem solver, flexible and enjoys the plant environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in environmental compliance in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with implementation and maintenance of an ISO 14001 or equivalent EMS
• Experience in air pollution control operations, water treatment operations, hazardous waste, and radiation
• RCRA waste generation, storage, and proper disposal knowledge
• Experience with Title V and or NPDES permitting
• Geographically mobile for current or future career opportunities
