Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Events Assistant to support our events team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about events, organized, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating various events, including corporate functions, promotional events, and community engagements.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, including setup, coordination, and breakdown.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks such as managing event calendars, coordinating meetings, and maintaining event documentation.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure event objectives are met.
  • Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking event budgets and ensuring events stay within the allocated financial plan.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and engage with the target audience.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with an eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Event Experience: Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
