Experienced Helper – Remodel, Carpentry & Handyman Company: A Team Home Services
Location: Austin, TX
Position Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 2–3 Years
Pay Range: $18–$23 per hour, depending on experience
Position Overview A Team Home Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Helper to support our remodeling, carpentry, and handyman operations. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with hands-on residential construction experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, jobsite professionalism, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities - Assist lead installers and skilled tradespeople with kitchen and bathroom remodels, carpentry, and general handyman projects
- Support remodeling work including framing, trim work, drywall, minor repairs, and fixture or appliance installations
- Prepare jobsites, including material handling, protection of finished surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Load, unload, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite standards
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and homeowners as needed
Qualifications - 2–3 years of hands-on experience in remodeling, carpentry, or handyman work
- Basic understanding of residential construction practices and jobsite workflows
- Ability to safely and efficiently use common hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying jobsite conditions
- Experience working in occupied residential homes
- Ability to follow direction while also working independently when required
