Position: Founding Developer Relations Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA (In-office)

Team Size:
Youll be part of a small but dynamic team, working closely with the founding members to drive product adoption and engagement with the developer community.

About the Role:
As the Founding Developer Relations Engineer, you will build and nurture a thriving developer community around the platform. You'll engage, educate, and inspire developers, acting as the crucial link between the community and internal teams, and creating technical content that resonates across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow the developer community by engaging with developers across various platforms.
  • Create technical content such as blog posts, videos, and tutorials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive product adoption and gather feedback.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Use data-driven insights to measure community engagement and refine strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in developer relations, advocacy, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to translate platform features into engaging content.
  • Experience in startups or fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with community engagement on platforms like Discord and Twitter.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring success and improving engagement.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics).
  • Experience in B2B or developer-focused environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to $210,000
  • Equity: 0.75%
