**General Description** **:** **The Security Manager will be based at** **BeOne's** **San Carlos facility (~100,000 sq. ft.) and will contribute to physical security operations across multiple company locations. This individual will help protect** **BeOne** **personnel, property, and operations by supporting day-to-day security functions and contributing to a broad range of programs within the Global Security team.** **Reporting to the Director of Global Security** **,** **the Manager will serve as a key member of the** **Global S** **ecurity team. They will** **assist** **in physical security operations, support incident response and investigations, help manage vendor relationships, and contribute to programs such as access management, awareness training, and risk mitigation. This role will also serve as a designated backup on the Colleague and Workplace Response Team (CWRT), which** **leads** **the** **initial** **response to workplace incidents that may** **impact** **personnel or** **facilities** **.** **This is a hands-on, growth-focused role suited for a strong generalist with the ability to learn, adapt, and collaborate across functions.** **Essential Functions of the** **J** **ob:** **Support day-to-day physical security operations across multiple BeOne locations, with a base in San Carlos.** **Assist** **in managing electronic security systems including** **design,** **and infrastructure upgrades.** **Contribute to incident response, investigations, and workplace-related risk mitigation efforts, including backup support for CWRT.** **Oversee and coordinate with contracted guard forces at supported sites.** **Help** **create and** **deliver Security Awareness programs and promote a culture of safety and accountability.** **Partner with site leadership, Workplace Services, HR, Compliance, and other internal teams to support local security needs.** **Collaborate with property management, vendors, and local law enforcement on risk reduction and site coordination.** **Support planning and coordination for on-site and off-site events, VIP visits,** **Congresses** **and other large meetings.** **Work closely with Global Security leadership on program execution, documentation, and continuous improvement.** **Participate in relevant training and development opportunities to strengthen individual capabilities and team effectiveness.** **Provide general support** **across the Global Security portfolio,** **assisting** **with department-wide priorities, initiatives, and administrative coordination as needed.** **Education Required:** **4-year degree, ideally in Criminal Justice** **with** **minimum** **5+** **years of security management experience.** **Qualifications:** **BA/BS with 5** **+** **years of experience in physical or corporate security, preferably in a multi-site or regulated environment.** **Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.** **Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.** **Experience working with or coordinating vendors, contractors, or guard forces a plus.** **Solid judgment and ability to respond effectively to evolving situations.** **Willingness to learn and grow within a global security function** **Supervisory Responsibilities:** **Manage** **guard force at multiple locations.** **Computer Skills:** **Exce** **l** **Exposure to electronic security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, badging platforms), with willingness to deepen technical skills.** **Travel:** 10% - as needed.
