We are looking for a meticulous and organized Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Wahiawa, Hawaii. This position is a long-term contract opportunity, offering the chance to support essential HR functions in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in HR operations and a strong commitment to maintaining organizational standards. To apply, please call us at 808-531-8056. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the distribution of paychecks and ensure all necessary documentation is properly managed and filed.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing new employee packets and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Organize materials for open enrollment, including collating handouts, registering employees, and tracking attendance.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and uploading documents into the HR system.
- Create and maintain employee folders, ensuring all records are accurate and updated.
- Help coordinate and organize company events, ensuring smooth logistics and communication with staff.
- Collaborate with staff to address employee inquiries and provide support in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures, seeking clarification when necessary and respecting the unique organizational culture.
- Utilize basic Microsoft Office tools and office equipment to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and adaptable approach to support various HR functions as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in human resources is required.
- Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with onboarding processes and employee documentation.
- Familiarity with open enrollment procedures and benefits coordination.
- Excellent communication skills, with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Attention to detail and a conscientious attitude toward work.
- Ability to work 100% onsite during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
