About the Role:
We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join a growing residential design team in the Greater Milwaukee Area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in client-facing environments, has a passion for transforming spaces, and enjoys working on a variety of home styles - from modern renovations to timeless classics.
What You'll Do:
+ Collaborate with homeowners to understand their vision, lifestyle, and design preferences
+ Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans tailored to residential interiors
+ Select finishes, furnishings, lighting, and materials that align with project goals and budgets
+ Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for contractors and vendors
+ Manage project timelines and coordinate with architects, builders, and suppliers
+ Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure design integrity
+ Stay current with design trends, materials, and local sourcing options
What You Bring:
+ Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
+ 2+ years of experience in residential interior design (or strong portfolio if newer)
+ Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite
+ Strong eye for detail, color, and spatial planning
+ Excellent communication and client presentation skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Bonus Skills:
+ Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes
+ Experience working with custom cabinetry, millwork, or high-end finishes
+ Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
