Are you:

• Artistic? Do you use your sense of style to develop designs that look great and are aesthetically pleasing? Do you love fashion?
• Creative? Are you imaginative in selecting furnishings and fabrics, in creating spaces that serve the client’s needs and fit the client’s lifestyle?
• Detailed Oriented? Are you precise in measuring interior spaces and making drawings so that furniture and furnishings will fit correctly and create an appropriate environment?
• Visual? Do you have a strong sense of proportion and visual awareness to understand how pieces of a design will fit together to create the intended interior environment?

Requirements

Do you have:

• Interpersonal Skills? Are you able to communicate effectively with clients and others such as suppliers, drafters, general contractors, subcontractors, and of course, your teammates?
• Problem-Solving Skills? Are you able to address challenges, such as spiraling costs or sudden unavailability of selected materials, while keeping the project on time and within budget?
• Multitasking Skills. The ability to excel at managing multiple projects at one time is a must.
• A genuine passion for kitchen, bath, and interior design?
• A clean and neat appearance while understanding the importance of maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with clients, architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project neighbors.
• Software? Proficient in AutoCad, SketchUp, Illustrator, Chief Architect, or other design programs
• Education? BS Degree in Interior Design or similar
