Internal Wholesaler - Annuity Distribution

The Opportunity

We're building a dynamic team of Internal Wholesalers to drive annuity sales through third-party distributors. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build and grow relationships within a dedicated territory, working with banks, credit unions, wirehouses, national and regional broker-dealers, and independent broker-dealers. Partnering closely with an External Wholesaler, you'll focus on increasing sales, expanding product penetration, and diversifying the annuity solutions offered to financial professionals.

Your Impact

As an Internal Wholesaler - Annuity Distribution, your key responsibilities will include:

Building and nurturing relationships with financial professionals, providing both pre- and post-sale annuity product support.
Proactively driving sales in partnership with an External Wholesaler through targeted outreach, consultations, and territory management.
Becoming an annuity expert, staying informed on product positioning, competitive landscapes, and financial planning trends.
Utilizing digital tools such as Salesforce, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, and financial planning software to manage relationships and sales activities effectively.
Developing strong business relationships with key distributors to help meet sales goals.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of business and an excellent customer experience.
Traveling with your External Wholesaler to gain in-depth knowledge of your territory and strengthen relationships with key partners.

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

FINRA Series 6 or 7 license at the time of application.
State Securities License Series 63 at the time of application.
State Life & Health Insurance License at the time of application.
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in financial services or a related field.
3+ years of sales or sales support experience with annuity products.
2+ years of experience working with financial institutions, such as banks, credit unions, wirehouses, or broker-dealers.
2+ years of experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Ideal Qualifications

6+ years of experience in financial services or a related field.
4+ years of sales or sales support experience with annuity products.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both one-on-one and in group settings.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a territory efficiently.
Commitment to building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and Salesforce, along with familiarity with financial planning software.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with a drive for success.
In-depth knowledge of annuity products (fixed, income, and variable annuities) and industry trends.
Proven ability to multitask, handle competing priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $70K - $85K
Sales-based incentive opportunities, bringing total target compensation to $100K - $125K
