The Osher Center for Integrative Health (OCIH) is a research, education, and clinical services program of the School of Medicine. The mission of the Osher Center is to scientifically research the effectiveness and value of integrative medicine; to provide patient approaches of proven value; to educate & train students and practitioners in the health professions in a new paradigm of relationship-centered medicine; and to disseminate information on the efficacy of integrative medicine to the medical community and the public. The Integrative Medicine Acupuncture Specialist, working collaboratively with other practitioners and staff in a team-based approach to patient care, will provide services as a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. The Acupuncturist reports directly to the Osher Center Practice Manager.
