Maintenance Technician | Coopersville, MI

Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components and machinery.
• Install, commission, and de-commission new and existing production equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts utilized accurately.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement efforts for equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics and basic programming/modifications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding and adherence to industrial safety procedures, including LOTO.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming and modification experience.
• Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication.
• Experience with CMMS administration or optimization.
• Robotics troubleshooting and repair experience.
• HVAC/Refrigeration certification (e.g., EPA 608).
