Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for our children . You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children under your care. We have a 1 year old and a 4 year old who love to play and be active! We need help approximately 2 days per week for 3-4 hours each day and 1-2 date nights per week (we like Wednesdays and Fridays).
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for our kids to learn and play
- Engage in age-appropriate activities to promote physical, cognitive, and social development
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas, bedrooms, and common spaces
- Follow established routines for naptime, mealtimes, and bedtime
- Administer first aid when necessary and seek medical attention as needed
- Abstain from using your cell phone while in our children’s presence
Experience:
- Proven experience in infant care, toddler care, nannying, or caregiving roles
- Knowledge of first aid procedures for children
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and learning activities
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Experience in meal preparation for young children
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education or related field preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Reliable transportation to commute to the family's home
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents
