Advancing Global Education Through Leadership and Philanthropy
Commitment: Volunteer (5–10 hours per quarter)

The Educational Equality Institute (TEEI) is seeking accomplished corporate leaders, philanthropists, and nonprofit executives to join its Board of Directors . As a Philanthropic Board Member , you will provide governance, financial oversight, and strategic direction to an organization committed to expanding access to education, mentorship, and professional development for refugees, displaced individuals, and underserved communities—especially women and girls .
This is an opportunity for mission-driven leaders to leverage their networks, expertise, and influence to advance TEEI’s impact. Board Members will play a pivotal role in fundraising efforts by facilitating introductions to corporate sponsors, philanthropic foundations, and high-net-worth donors while shaping the organization’s long-term strategy.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong corporate relationships, a passion for education, and experience in nonprofit leadership or large-scale philanthropy .
As a Philanthropic Board Member , you will serve as a key strategic advisor and ambassador , ensuring that TEEI continues to grow its impact through high-level partnerships, corporate engagement, and sustainable fundraising initiatives . Your ability to engage donors and secure corporate sponsorships will be critical to the organization’s continued success.
Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person) and contribute to TEEI’s strategic initiatives.
Offer mentorship and thought leadership to TEEI’s executive team and fundraising committees.
TEEI is looking for senior executives, philanthropists, business leaders, and nonprofit governance experts with experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, social impact, or nonprofit leadership .
✔ A strong commitment to education, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership .
✔ Experience in fundraising, corporate sponsorships, or donor engagement .
✔ An established network of corporate leaders, philanthropic organizations, or high-net-worth donors .
✔ A background in finance, law, technology, AI, education, or social impact (preferred but not required).
✔ Prior experience serving on a nonprofit board (preferred but not required).
✔ The ability to dedicate 5–10 hours per quarter to board meetings, fundraising efforts, and committee work.
Each board member is expected to contribute or raise between $50,000 and $100,000 annually through personal giving, corporate sponsorships, or donor engagement.
