Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Physical Therapy Aide in Princeton, NJ. This position will work in outpatient, sports and orthopedic setting for those looking to pursue a future career in physical therapy or health related field.

Qualifications:

Required:

• HS diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• American Heart Association CPR Certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Per Diem Schedule

Essential Functions:

• General housekeeping and infection prevention
• Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment
• Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, electrical equipment
• Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages
• Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment
