Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Lead the design and analysis of bearing systems for aerospace applications.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design concepts.
• Technical Analysis:
• Perform structural and thermal analysis using simulation tools to assess performance under various load conditions.
• Evaluate bearing materials and lubrication solutions for optimal performance and reliability.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, FAA regulations).
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners to select and qualify materials and components.
• Problem Solving:
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the development and production phases.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product improvements.
• Project Management:
• Participate in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Support cross-functional teams in meeting project milestones and deliverables.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
• Strong understanding of bearing design principles, failure analysis, and testing methodologies.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aerospace engineering.
• Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and quality control in aerospace environments is a plus.
