We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from inception to completion. This position is ideal for veterans, transitioning service members, reservists, or military spouses who excel in leadership, mission planning, and execution.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that goals are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget. Candidates with a background in operations, logistics, or team leadership will find this role to be a natural transition from military service to civilian project management.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet performance targets.

  • Define project scope, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Track progress using project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project, ClickUp, or Monday.com).

2. Leadership & Team Coordination

  • Lead project teams with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and mission success.

  • Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and monitor team performance.

  • Foster open communication between team members and stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular status meetings to review progress, challenges, and next steps.

3. Budget & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.

  • Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects.

  • Track expenses, forecast costs, and report variances to leadership.

4. Communication & Reporting

  • Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders and clients.

  • Provide consistent project updates, including progress reports and performance metrics.

  • Prepare executive summaries and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned.

5. Risk Management & Quality Assurance

  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.

  • Ensure all deliverables meet company standards and client expectations.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency.

6. Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational processes.

  • Recommend process improvements and best practices for ongoing project optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (in Business Administration, Management, or related field). Equivalent military experience accepted.

  • Experience:  1–2 years of project management, operations, or leadership experience (including military command or operational roles).

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex initiatives.

  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic-thinking abilities.

  • Organization: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management.

  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.

Preferred Skills and Certifications
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM, Agile/Scrum Master, or Six Sigma preferred but not required.

  • Experience managing government, logistics, or defense-related projects.

  • Familiarity with military operational planning or systems management.
