The Town of Acton is partnering with the Town of Littleton and are seeking applicants for the full-time, benefitted position of a Public Health Nurse
General Duties and Responsibilities: The Public Health Nurse will provide quality public health nursing care in the community and at the Council on Aging within Acton and Littleton. A 40-hours a week position; with 13 hours in Littleton and the rest in Acton. Some duties included but not limited to are: completing case investigations and entering data into MAVEN; develop, research, and conduct health education presentations and discussions; conduct home wellness visits and safety checks; participate in the AD HOC Task Force; conduct blood pressure/wellness clinics; coordinate and communicate with other MA Public Health Nurses and other duties as required.
Minimum Entrance Requirements : Two (2) years of public health nursing experience or related work. Licensing to practice nursing within Massachusetts. RN degree from an accredited college or university. Valid Driver’s License.
Pay Rate : Starting at $82k to $107k per year depending on qualifications
