The Business Services Section is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual interested in serving as a Business Service Officer I, Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Business Services Section, this position has Statewide responsibility as the Department’s Recycle Coordinator. Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the department's recycle plan; Responsibilities also include Asset management, Property Control, and Inventory, and serves as a back-up to the Central Office Building Manager.

This position works in-office 5 days a week.

Required
• Possession of a valid California Driver’s License. This position requires occasional travel by air or vehicle on an as needed basis.
• Ability to provide guidance and communicate clearly, orally and in writing, with customers, staff, vendors, management, non-profit grant agencies and other outside entities.
• The incumbent is required to have the ability to travel statewide on an as needed basis, including by vehicle or air travel, up to 50% of the time. Must undergo a background check through the Department of Corrections and be granted access into the California State Prisons, Federal buildings, and other State buildings.
