This position is located in the Nursing Department of the Chula Vista Veterans Home.

This position is subject to the Post and Bid requirements for Bargaining Unit 17.

Working Conditions

Working overtime is a requirement of this position.

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a(n) California RN License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) a(n) CPR Certificate. You will be required to provide a copy of your certificate prior to being hired.

Successful completion of a live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.

If your eligibility requires that you meet the Minimum Qualifications of the class and you qualify under pattern requiring education, then the selected candidate will be required to provide college transcripts prior to appointment .
