We are currently seeking a Remote SAP FICO consultant to join our team in Mexico, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

Role : SAP S/4HANA Finance, Accounting and Controlling Consultant

A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a “SAP S/4 HANA Implementation FI/CO Consultant” to join our team

Responsibilities : Our SAP S/4 HANA Implementation FI/CO Consultant will lead a team chartered with the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA. Duties include but may not be limited to:

• The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for Designs, builds and deploys SAP – based ERP solutions.
• Responsible for understanding an organization's business requirements, prepare as-is to be, Configuration changes, Data conversion process, training end users and sorting out the end user day-to-day queries.
• Work Independently to Estimate, Design, and Deliver solutions.
• Responsible for Resolution of incidents in the areas of FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, CO-CCA, CO-PC, CO-PA.
• Configure FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, Vendor Master data, down payments, open item clearing.
• Document functional specification, design specification and Development request.
• Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
• Work with stakeholders such as the Business and IT clients, as well as the team, both onsite and offshore
• Guide and Mentor other FICO consultants in the SAP team.
• Participation of upgrade activities.
• Appropriately communicates project status, escalates issues, and Manage timelines and action items.
• Educate local teams on basis SAP S/4 HANA Finance, Accounting and Controlling functionality, and SAP S/4HANA, in general.
• Refine the Finance, Accounting and Controlling process scope, identifying any gaps when necessary.
• Perform system demonstrations designed to showcase the existing standard SAP S/4HANA functionality and secure buy-in from customers, while identifying any gaps, and/or requirements.
• Translate local business requirements into related configuration requirements and perform system set-ups in S/4 HANA to meet customer requirements.
• Identify any Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows and/or any other development objects necessary to bridge requirements with SAP S/4HANA functionality through the creation of Functional Specification documentation. Interface effectively with developers to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and the development of technical designs
• Identify local security requirements and work with Security staff on the creation of security profiles necessary to support local needs
• Perform field and value mappings associated with data conversion efforts
• Perform demonstrations of the updated system, post build (Configuration and Development) activities to showcase the incorporation and validate localization requirements
• Provide support and subject matter expertise during the execution of testing activities and resolve any specific issues identified during testing
• Work on the development training materials incorporating requirements and deliver end user training or train the trainer workshops according to the training plans/schedules
• Provide subject matter expert support during cutover and go-live activities and perform tasks assigned as part of cutover plan and schedules
• Provide support post go-live and resolve post go-live issues

Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Highly Experienced in SAP FI and CO modules (Preferably ECC6 and S/4HANA cFIN), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost center Accounting, Product costing/Actual costing/Material Ledger, Taxation and Treasury Modules.
• Experience with SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) in both ECC and CFIN.
• Experience in working with interfaces and integration with 3rd party systems.
• Experience working on a SAP Finance Consultant with at least three end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Excellent communication skills

Years of Experience

• At least 12 of years of experience in various roles in the planning, design, and deployment of SAP financial solutions. Experience in SAP S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC configuration and testing activities, specifically in Finance, Accounting and Controlling processes
• Multiple (over 4) SAP implementation full life-cycle experience
• SAP ECC / S/4HANA FI/CO Configuration and testing experience
• Travel availability

Education and Certifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• The SAP job requires a bachelor's degree in science, professional degree in engineering (computer/telecommunication), computer science/information technology or equivalent

Skills

• Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture. Preferably involving the implementation of SAP ECC or S/4HANA, particularly Finance, Accounting and Controlling processes
• Solid analytical / problem solving skills
• Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective.
• Strong influencing and excellent communication skills. Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
• Strong client service attitude
• Strong organizational and time management skills
