Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for performing complex fraud incident investigations and case management, including collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate and recover loss to the Bank. Essential Job Functions + Performs fraud incident management for instances described within the Bank's Fraud Risk Management Program. + Performs complex fraud investigations derived from escalated fraud alerts and other various sources, such as branch personnel or law enforcement. + Conducts complex fraud investigations and link analysis that may include multiple subjects, incidents, and jurisdictions. + Keeps management apprised on the status and progression of assigned complex fraud + Leads, trains, mentors, and/or coaches team members. + Conducts fraud awareness training for employees, customers, or the public, as + Supports Fraud Risk Management on retail training and operations with training initiatives as + Supports management by completing special projects, and other duties as + Develops and maintains professional working relationships with local law enforcement and peer bank fraud professionals. + Investigates possible elder abuse and reports to the appropriate groups and + Works with operations and front-line employees to protect customer information and prevent + Forms initial determinations regarding additional actions to be taken and recommends possible SAR filings to management and/or the AML Investigations team, in accordance with + Works with law enforcement to resolve fraud incidents and represents the Bank in court proceedings as required. + Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job + Maintains good punctuality and attendance to + Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines. Basic Qualifications + Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience + Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in fraud investigations, bank security, bank loss prevention, and/or Bank Secrecy Act reporting, required. + Prior experience providing court testimony in fraud related cases + Certification in a relevant discipline (i.e., Certified Fraud Examiner-CFE, Certified Financial Crimes Investigator-CFCI, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist-CAMS) or willingness to obtain certifications, preferred.
