Job Description

Our client, a PE-owned manufacturing company, is searching for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team at one of its plants near Springfield, Mass. This position offers advancement opportunity at the corporate level for high performers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with daily invoice processing activities.
• Financial statement preparation, review, and analysis.
• Prepare and enter biweekly payroll journal entries into general ledger.
• Accounting in adherence to GAAP.
• Coordinate processing and distribution of W-2s and 1099.
• Assist with annual audit process.
• Data analytics projects.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience required.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred .
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office .
• ERP experience is a must.
