Position also known as: Sign Maker, Production Specialist, Graphics Designer ATTENTION: Position is for LAKELAND Location only. Sign Maker and Graphic Designer work in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphic products for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment. Position requirements include cutting printed graphics using a variety of wall cutters, saws, and x-acto blades, as well as applying the product to substrates. The Sign Maker may be required to work in the field performing installations to vehicles, building interiors and exteriors using a ladder or mechanical lift system. Careful attention to detail utilizing work orders that outline specifics for each custom order is paramount. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided. Experience in work with hands and a good understating of measuring and cutting material to exact job specifications. A high level of experience and attention to detail with applying graphics to substrates. Properly prepare and install all kinds of signs including vehicle graphics. Ability to mount Interior and exterior signage to wall surfaces or substrates using ladder. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work with sign shop tools and be able to work extended hours while standing. Be responsible for the productivity and quality of work, willing to work as a team member or separately. Requirements: excellent worth ethic, dedicated, punctual and positive attitude. Daily work based on 80% internal labor (for production) / 20% outside labor (for Installations) Compensation based on experience.
