WHAT CAN RELIAS OFFER YOU?
Are you passionate about software development and eager to apply your programming skills in a real-world setting? Do you enjoy solving problems and learning new technologies? If so, spend a summer working with the Engineering team at Relias. You’ll gain hands-on experience in software development, collaborating with a team to build and improve our digital learning platform. We provide training in the technologies we use and foster a team atmosphere that supports learning and innovation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Assist in the development and maintenance of scalable software features, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to improve quality and gain feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers.
• Learn and work with technologies such as .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives and goals.
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Foundational proficiency in object-oriented programming and modern programming languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and basic cloud concepts.

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters 4 days per week.
