We are looking for a security officer for a Flex-Security Guard Position . The ideal candidate must be disciplined, and operate with complete integrity and respect. Must have manners, and be self-aware of their actions. They must be able to work as a team, must be a hard-worker, have self-drive, and be committed to the mission of the job. The ideal candidate will take their role as a security officer seriously, be punctual, presentable, and show excellent performance. Any training on arrest and detention, medical, CPR, tourniquet, pepper spray, military, is highly desirable. A flex security officer provides support to multiple sites and can adapt to different work environments easily. As a flex officer you will act as a deterrent to crime and client rule infractions while detecting and reporting suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at your assigned post. Your work site may not be the same, but knowledge and experience will be gained from working in different locations. Dinasty Security uses an app (Deputy) that allows officers to see all available shifts, hours, and locations. Security officers can select their own hours with a maximum of 24 hours per week, as you may be required to cover emergency call outs. As a flex officer it is required to work at least 4 shifts per month.

 Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer Flex Security Guard

 Job Type: Entry Level: Morning/Swing/Graveyard Shift

 Uniforms: Uniforms are provided by Dinasty Security. Consists of Long/short sleeve shirt, wind-breaker, pants, and company hat.

 Equipment: Equipment that you must obtain within a month of employment is as follows:

• Duty Belt

• Handcuffs with handcuffs holder

• Flashlight with flashlight holder

• Tactical security boots or patrol shoes (black). Steel toe boots (depending on site)

• Security Badge

 Working Hours:

• Must be available in the weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

 Job Duties:

• Access Control: Screen & register all incoming visitors

• Perform hourly patrols Walking or Golf Cart/Detex

• Secure/Guard facility and other designated areas

• Observe: Remain alert, look out for any suspicious activity

• Report: Create Incident Reports and Notify management team of any incidents

• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at client specific sites

• Log in and log out trucks, trailers, containers, and temperatures.

• Customer Service: Provide manners, and respect at all times.

• Check seal numbers on trucks/trailers/containers

• Work as a team member

• Communicate with the client for reports

• Report daily activity logs, Serious incident logs

• Protect and provide safety to the property

 Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills

• Surveillance/Reporting Skills

• Punctual, Reliable, Respectful

• Customer Service skills

• Bilingual preferable

• Situational awareness

• CPR/BLS trained or open to training

• Pepper spray trained or open to training

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in the U.S

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs. (e)

• Bilingual (Preferred)

• Must pass pre-employment background check

• Reliable Transportation

• Required to work for multiple clients at multiple locations

• Required to cover special projects, Call offs, Vacations, and open shifts.

• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of Standing and/or walking, climbing stairs, etc. for a full shift

 

License: California Guard Card (REQUIRED) or willing to obtain one within 1 month of employment. (Mandatory)

 

Education: At least High school or equivalent (preferred)

 

Experience: Strong experienced desired. Entry-level positions available for those that are new to the security industry.

Pay Frequency: Biweekly

Being a flex security officer is not an inclusive job position, therefore management has the right to assign or reassign schedules, duties, and responsibilities to this position. If you request to be placed in a permanent post, responsibilities, job duties, work availability status, and pay rate will change to standard company expectations.
