Founded in 1997, and providing nationwide services, ASG has teams based in Northern California, Los Angeles, the New York Tri-State Area, the Southeastern US, and the Rocky Mountain Region.

We are looking for an embedded Video Editor.

This is a full-time position through December 2025.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating cut-down versions of long-form video content for distribution across platforms such as YouTube and various social media channels

• Creatively assemble footage either from scripted or unscripted segments

• Contribute creative ideas and solutions

• Apply color correction and light sound design to finished cuts

• Bring new ideas to projects to help enhance the finished project

• Be able to create and modify simple graphics in After Effects

• Occasionally create thumbnails for YouTube videos you work on using Photoshop templates

• Initiate communication with the team regarding problems with footage or projects, and the ability to problem solve around them

• Communicate if graphics do not seem to be adhering to client standards

• Complete edits by their deadlines and communicate with project leads along the way

• Organize editing projects in a logical, standardized manner such that handoffs and collaboration are smoothly executed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Broadcasting or related field

• 4+ years of experience in video editing roles

• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

• Basic understanding of the Google App Suite

• Basic understanding of Apple computers and troubleshooting on them

• Responsive and clear communication through G Suite

• Eagerness to learn, adapt and contribute to collaborative team environment

• Clear and respectful communication with team members and stakeholders through written form

• Creative thinking

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 annually.
