Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a CAD Drafter in San Diego, CA, to produce complete sets of construction documents and custom furniture production drawings. Modern high-end residential construction, remodels, curated furnishing packages, & custom innovative commercial projects.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree completed in Interior Design or Architecture
- 5+ years experience in an interior design or architecture firm
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Construction Document Production
- Proficient in Sketch Up and/or Revit.
Skills - Ability to Draft in AutoCAD
- AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, Sketch-Up
- Knowledge of Building Codes and Standards
- Ability to implement FF&E into plans
- Ability to produce detailed custom furnishings shop drawings for production
- Must be a Self-Starter
- Ability to adapt to change quickly
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines
- Extremely detail oriented, strong organizational skills
- Capable of project documents management and following up on tasks
- Consistent level of follow-through
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, exceptional listening skills, a sense of urgency, and a high degree of professionalism, honesty, and integrity required.
- Must be able to perform successfully under pressure and in a fast speed, deadline-driven environment
- Must be open to feedback and learning experiences
- Must work well in small group setting and enjoy working as part of a team
Responsibilities - Produce Construction Documents
- Produce custom furniture drawings
- Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications in binder and computer files
