MS-IL Staffing & Packaging,  and its local client, are NOW HIRING a 1st shift  Computer Technician in the  Indianapolis, Indiana, area! 

Pay: $20.00 / hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday to Friday

Location:  Zionsville Road and 96th Street/ North West Indy

The Computer Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of computer hardware and systems. This includes, but not limited to: desktops, laptops, and other related peripherals. The role will be responsible handling inventory, troubleshoot issues, and ensuring equipment meets quality standards before redeployment or storage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware. Including desktops, laptops, and other peripheral devices.
• Test and install operating systems, drivers, and other software as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment, including cleaning, replacing parts, and upgrading components.
• Inspect and test returned or incoming inventory to ensure functionality.
• Collaborate with department staff to manage the workflow of computer repair requests.
• Follow the safety and security policies set within the department

Job Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
• Strong computer skills with experience in technical support and computer management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer networking, IT support, and desktop support
• Experience with VPN, firewall, software troubleshooting, and computer hardward
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment

Work Environment:

• Seated
• Standing
• Temperature controlled warehouse
• At computer station for majority of shift

Physical Requirements:

• Essential physical requirements such as standing, stooping, or typing
• Lift - up to 10 to 20 pounds intermittently through shift.
