Information Technology Compensation Plan (226 Days)
Salary Range: $25.44 - $36.62 per/Hour
Shift Type: Full-Time
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Computer Supervisor
EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: As soon as possible
PRIMARY PURPOSE: - To install and repair computers, printers, and related equipment for the district. The person will work closely with Technical Services personnel and all other departments for the district.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Have knowledge of PC’s Macintosh, Ethernet and wireless networking in a Windows and Novell environment
- Valid Texas driver’s license
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: - Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computer hardware and software
- Highly organized, detailed oriented and able to work within a high pressure environment
- Possess effective communication, public relation and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE: - Have demonstrated successful hardware and software experience with PC and Macintosh computer repair
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: - Pick-up, delivery, installation and repair of computers, network hardware, printers and related equipment for the district
- Troubleshoot wireless access equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands:
- Able to work in high pressure environment
Physical demands/environmental factors:
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to lift (60) pounds
