Crab Boss Maryland in Brandywine, MD is looking for one delivery driver/logistics specialist to join our team. We are located on 14125 Brandywine Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities:

• Driving Long Distances:
• Expect to drive a significant number of miles , to different cities and states. 
• You'll need to plan efficient routes, considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and delivery schedules to minimize travel time and fuel consumption. 



• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Ensuring your vehicle is in good working order, which may involve routine checks, maintenance, and reporting any issues. 
• Loading and Unloading Cargo:
• You may be involved in loading and unloading goods at the pickup and delivery locations, and potentially managing the weight distribution within your vehicle. 
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, obtaining necessary signatures, and reporting any issues or incidents along the way. 
• Customer Service:
• Interacting with customers in a professional and helpful manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. 

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License:
• You'll need a valid driver's license and potentially a commercial driver's license (CDL) depending on the size and type of vehicle you'll be driving. 
• Driving Experience:
• Previous driving experience, particularly with long-distance or commercial vehicles, is often an advantage. 
• Strong Route Planning and Navigation Skills:
• You'll need to be comfortable with navigating unfamiliar routes and using GPS or mapping applications. 
• Excellent Communication Skills:
• You'll need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other members of the team. 
• Ability to Work Independently:
• A significant part of the job involves working alone, requiring a high degree of self-reliance and responsibility. 
• Physical Stamina:
• Depending on the role, you may be required to stand for extended periods or lift and load cargo, so physical stamina is a plus.
