Job Summary

Newscape Studios, Inc has a dozen YouTube channels, with over 10 million total subscribers. We create content based on popular video games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, and original animations. Newscape also produces a vast array of videos for a young audience and create content through animation and machinima.

We are looking to add Freelance Animators to our creative and talented team to work on our animation and gaming channels. 

We are looking  for candidates with foreground  animation skills with substantial knowledge using Toon Boom Harmony. Bonus knowledge using (Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, After Effects, and Character Animator). 

Animation channels to match style of:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Keep an organized and efficient workflow
• Animating rigged characters in Toon Boom
• Light compositing work (lighting and some effects)
• Experience in hand animation in Toon Boom is a plus but not required  
• Depending on skill and experience some duties and responsibilities may differ

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years required experience with Toon Boom Harmony 
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Character Animator a plus
• Illustrator/Animators must be able to adapt to a variety of workflows and maintain established style formats per channel.
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Communicate effectively
• Great listening skills
• Great time management skills
• Comfortable in meeting deadlines and daily quotas
• Strong attention to detail and consistency 

Demo Reel/ Portfolio is required to be considered.

Competitive pay: $880.00 per production week
This is a remote/ work from home, Independent Contractor Position. Artists with LLCs are preferred but not required.
