Senior Superintendent opportunity to lead the ground-up construction of a mission-critical data centre in Houston, TX. This role owns full field execution including safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor coordination, and is ideal for a hands-on builder seeking a long-term, Texas-based projects.

Must Haves
Â
- Proven experience leading ground-up data centre or mission-critical construction projects from site mobilization through turnover
- Strong background as a Senior Superintendent or Superintendent on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- Deep understanding of complex MEP systems, power distribution, cooling infrastructure, and coordination-intensive scopes
- Demonstrated ability to lead full-site execution across multiple trades with accountability for schedule, safety, quality, and cost
- Experience working closely with project managers, owners, inspectors, and third-party consultants in high-stakes environments
- Advanced knowledge of construction documents, CPM schedules, sequencing, and field-driven problem solving
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to command respect in the field and make decisive calls under pressure
- Commitment to safety excellence with a track record of enforcing site safety programs and compliance standards
- Proficiency with construction technology and reporting tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software

- Direct experience delivering hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical data centre facilities
- Background working for a large general contractor on technically complex builds
- Experience mentoring and developing assistant superintendents and field engineers
- Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover requirements for mission-critical facilities
- Strong financial awareness with experience reviewing labor reports, job costs, and change management impacts
- Exposure to fast-track or multi-phase construction schedules in live or high-visibility environments
- Experience collaborating on early planning, constructability reviews, or preconstruction support
- Local Houston trade relationships and familiarity with regional inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction

Responsibilities
Â
- Lead all on-site construction activities for a ground-up data centre project, maintaining full accountability for field execution
- Coordinate and oversee all subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure alignment with schedule, quality, and safety expectations
- Drive a proactive safety culture through daily oversight, audits, and enforcement of all site safety requirements
- Manage site logistics, manpower planning, sequencing, and productivity to support aggressive delivery timelines
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes to proactively identify conflicts and resolve issues in the field
- Partner with the project management team to maintain schedule integrity, manage change events, and protect project profitability
- Oversee quality control inspections and ensure work is installed in accordance with contract documents and applicable codes
- Lead field reporting including daily logs, progress updates, look-ahead planning, and schedule inputs
- Represent the company professionally in owner meetings, inspections, and critical field decisions
- Mentor and develop field leadership, fostering a high-performance, accountable jobsite culture
- Drive project closeout activities including inspections, punchlists, commissioning coordination, and final turnover
