Description: **ABOUT THE ROLE** Operates dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for the production of sand, gravel, stone used for Ready-mix and/or asphalt applications. Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner. **WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH** + Operate various heavy equipment in order to loads trucks, feeds bins with various aggregate materials, maintain proper quantities of material to be loaded. + Maintain equipment: Keeps equipment clean and orderly. + Safety: Performs daily inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation. + Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times. + Load material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant. + Moves earth or other materials from one location to another. + Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment. May maintain appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels or perform minor repairs as needed + Completes are paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR + Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Ability to read and write. + Excellent driving skills + Strong safety-orientation **Additional Requirements:** + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
