The Intern contributes to the mission of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops by supporting the work of the Department of Communications in video production. The intern will have opportunities to enrich his or her academic program or career preparation through participating on a creative team to develop original short-form videos. These videos will share the authentic voices of young people, speaking from their own experience about how they are living their Catholic faith. This is a fully remote paid internship position for credit with regular virtual meetings.
Continuing Responsibilities: (List from highest to lowest priority.)
1.Pre-production responsibilities in concept development, research, writing, and gathering video/photo assets, including B-roll footage.
2.Production responsibilities in operating camera(s) and microphone(s) to record audio and video.
3.Post-production responsibilities in editing recordings for final polish and duration.
4.Attend regular virtual creative meetings to discuss project progress, including final USCCB approval.
Level: Must be a current undergraduate with minimum of two years of complete coursework or graduate student
This role pays $21.08 per hour.
